Celebrate the Third Annual City of Philadelphia LGBT History Month (2 p.m.) at City Hall when Mayor Nutter, the Office of LGBT Affairs and the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations raise the rainbow flag.

The Old City Seaport Festival kicks off (5 p.m.) with a week of events at the Independence Seaport Museum.

Kembrel is celebrating its new men’s shop (5 p.m.) with the latest fashions for the fellas in its locally designed and sustainable showroom.

Boyd’s is hosting a Shoe Extravaganza with new men’s and women’s designer footwear (5 p.m.).

Join the LGBT for Obama Bar Crawl with Rep. Babette Josephs and Sherrie Cohen starting at Woody’s (6 p.m.).

Tabu hosts Thank Goddess It’s OMG (9 p.m.) with the Notorious OMG, The Goddess Isis, Miss Mary Wanna, Miss Rose and Serena Starr.

Greensgrow Farms is celebrating the Fifth Annual Suburu Fall Festival (11 a.m.) with local food, crafts and fun.

It’s the Seventh Annual Midtown Village Festival (noon) with outdoor events, sidewalk sales and plenty of food and drinks to celebrate the fall season.

Pick your own veggies during the Fall Festival with SisterSpace (noon) at Larriland Farms in Woodbine, Md.

H.J. Sudler reads from his new book Patriarch: My Extraordinary Journey (1 p.m.) at the William Way.

The Indigo Ball is at the Franklin Institute (6 p.m.). This year, the William Way is honoring Al Besse as Humanitarian of the Year and Deb Francesco with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Optimal Sports Club – one of our Best of Gay Philly 2012 winners – is also named as Community Partner of the Year.

It’s Ladies Night (7 p.m.) at Club In or Out in Hammonton, N.J., with Chi Chi Rodriguez and DJ Jerzy Jeff.

Gear Up and Get Out at the Bike Stop (9 p.m.) for a military, sports and uniform-themed night with music by Dave Huge to raise money for the Philadelphians MC.

The IndiGoGo dance party (10 p.m.) is at Voyeur following the Indigo Ball with DJ Deejay, Robert Drake, Jovi and Kash to benefit the William Way.

Sunday, Oct. 7

Outfest takes over the Gayborhood (noon) to celebrate National Coming Out Day with live entertainment, food, drinks and the new Bazaar on Quince with even more performances, games and leather fun with the guys from the Bike Stop. Please also stop by G Philly‘s booth to pick up the new issue featuring the “Best Of Gay Philly” and to meet the staff.

Sisters and ICandy are also hosting Outfest parties starting at noon.

Ladies 2000 is celebrating Columbus Day Weekend with a dance party at Top Dog (3 p.m.) in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Stimulus presents its Outfest after-party at Voyeur (4 p.m.) with five DJs for eight hours of fun.

Vince Dean is singing songs inspired by his mother Ida (4 p.m.) at the Ethical Society.

It’s Show Us Your Tunes 2.0 (8 p.m.) at Tavern on Camac with Brittany Lynn and her Broadway babes.
