Civil Unions Are Now Legal in Delaware
No telling how many couples will head to Rehoboth to get hitched this summer
Congratulations to Delaware for legalizing same-sex civil unions last night. In our region, the First State follows New Jersey in granting LGBT people the right to commit to each other legally. It’s anticipated that New York will also follow suit as the governor and many supporters have been pushing for legislation this year. Will Pennsylvania wise up, too? Only time (and efforts from the gay and straight communities alike) will tell.
