Verde shows its hometown pride with new T-shirts

Dress up your fall wardrobe with new T-shirts from Verde, a gay-owned shop in the heart of Midtown Village. The latest additions to the Verde line include “Love” and “Philly Hearts Me” tees. The super soft shirts are printed in a retro style on organic cotton.
Partners Marci Turney and Valerie Safran also carry the “I (pretzel) Philly” tote bag, which was recently featured on The Frisky’s What Are You Wearing Today?
Other new goodies this season: vegan “leather” bags, hand-knitted scarves and hats and the shop’s exclusive line of artisanal chocolate, flowers and jewelry (108 S. 13th St., 215-546-8700).
