Federal Donuts Just Rolled Out a New Breakfast Sandwich

And for the next two weeks, they're throwing in a free cup of coffee when you order one.

It turns out that our Sherlock Holmes-like powers of deduction on Friday proved correct: Federal Donuts is adding a breakfast sandwich to its menu starting today, March 4th.

While we were really hoping for some kind of Double Down situation where fried chicken breasts (or hot donuts) serve as the bread for the sandwich, it’s built on a Martin’s potato roll just like their chicken sandwich. Egg comes in the form of a slice of steamed and crisp-fried scramble, along with Cooper sharp and bacon. It’s finished with a sweet-spicy house-made cherry pepper relish.

Get one from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. every day at Federal Donuts locations in South Philly, Center City, University City, Poplar, Bella Vista, and at the Art Museum Whole Foods. And when you order one through Monday, March 18th, they’ll include a free small cup of their house blend coffee for free.
