The poke trend continues to spread in Philly. Pokéworks will bring the Hawaiian cuisine to 1037 Chestnut Street.

While the California-based quick-serve’s menu includes build-your-own bowls and set menu items, its claim to fame is the poke burrito, a close cousin to the sushi burrito. They’re currently collaborating with Top Chef alum and Hawaii native Sheldon Simeon on a line of signature dishes.

The fast-casual chain has plans to open six stores in Pennsylvania, starting with the Philly location, which is slates to open this summer. It joins recent additions Shake Shack as well as Porta and Brickwall Tavern on this Midtown Village strip of Chestnut Street.
