Now You Can Get an Epic Stargazy Pie for Your Wedding

If you’re getting hitched any time in the near future and want to do something different at your wedding, Stargazy has just the thing for you.
Chef-owner Sam Jacobson is now offering wedding pies — multilayered towers of flaky, golden pastry containing the fillings of your choice. Wedding not happening in Philly? No worries — he’s able to deliver as far as New York for a reasonable transportation fee. Call the shop at 215-309-2761 to order your dream wedding pie.
Jacobson is changing some things up at his East Passyunk shop, too: As of today, Stargazy will be closed on Monday and Tuesday and open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Along with new hours come new menus: From 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., the shop will serve breakfast pies and tea only. At lunchtime — 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. — they’ll offer new lunch options in addition to the pies we know and love, like salads and other classic cold dishes.
Starting at 5 p.m., Jacobson will show off his considerable chef chops with dinner specials (yes, you can still get your beloved pie and mash). Sundays are reserved for pies and “whatever else we decide to make,” Jacobson said in a Facebook post.
