Pizzeria Vetri Is Making A Hangover Pizza

Which, let's be honest, is a pretty good idea.

If you’re already looking ahead to how you’re going to handle New Year’s Day, the good people at Pizzeria Vetri have got your back with their exclusive Hangover Cure pizza. Available only on January 1 (and offered alongside $6 mimosas all day long), this pizza is topped with bacon, egg, cheddar cheese and everything bagel seasoning. It’ll run you $16, but depending on what kind of shape you’re in on the morning after, that might be the best bargain in town.

And that’s not the only new pie that the Pizzeria Vetri crews are rolling out.

On December 21st, the Rittenhouse PV started offering a new Bruxelles pizza with Brussel sprouts, pancetta, sherry agrodolce, mozzarella and parmesan for $18. On the same day, the Art Museum shop launched a Porri al Tartufo pie with truffled leeks, parmesan, mozzarella and burratta (also $18).

And, of course, there’s still the rotolo (which can almost always cure whatever ails you) at all locations, and a prosciutto cotto calzone on the board at the Rittenhouse and Art Museum locations that doesn’t get as much loving press as the rotolo do, but is still a damn fine calzone for those of you out there (like me) who are always looking for good ones.
