Looking for an Election Night Party?
Looking to be out in public as the results come in this evening? We pulled together the best parties being held around town.
City Tap House
The University City craft beer bar is tapping Johnny Goodtimes for a night of election night fun. There will be $4 craft beers and cocktail specials from 8 p.m. onward. And during lulls in the action, Goodtimes will be asking trivia questions and doing giveaways for gift cards and shwag.
The new restaurant and bar from the team that brought us Mac’s Tavern have a much bigger space in James. And this evening they’re kicking off their election night with complimentary house wine from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
McGillin’s Old Ale House
Philadelphia’s oldest bar has become a magnet for television networks. Recently they’ve had MSNBC in, as well as Good Morning America. And tonight, the pub welcomes the BBC. BBC News will be doing cut-ins to McGillin’s throughout the night and conducting interviews.
The bar will be offering red and blue drink specials, Marker’s Mark drink specials and 35 cent wings. Political decor, photo booth, prizes & giveaways. The BBC will be on the 2nd floor with the sound on.
The bowling alley and entertainment complex at the Fillmore with custom Hillary and Donald Drinks, unlimited bowling and a TV for everyone. A trio of TVs will broadcast MSNBC, CNN and FOX News.
The party starts with happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Flair Bar. 9 p.m. sees all 26 lanes opened for “Bi-Partisan All-You-Can-Bowl.” $15 per person gets you unlimited bowling for the rest of the night. Bowling shoes included.
The Fishtown beer bar with Mexican flare is prepared to #GuacTheVote today as they welcome Left Hand Brewing in for a tap takeover. Chef Adan Trinidad will be making special red and blue shelled tostadas for the occasion. The tostadas are $7, or $10 paired with a Left Hand beer. Party kicks off at 4 p.m. so prepared to hang for awhile.
