Uptown Beer Garden Is Hosting Week Long BBQ
Uptown Beer Garden is hosting a week of barbecue and beer from Chicago’s Half Acre Brewing Co. Chef Jonathan Petruce is producing a special menu featuring spare ribs, burgers, chili dogs, Mexican corn and smoked brisket.
Half Acre Brewing Co. will also be taking over one of Uptown’s two bars. The brewery is pouring pints for $5 (Navaja Double IPA is $5 for 10 ounces) all week.

- Pony Pils
- Get Right Kolch
- Hot Tropic Coconut Pale Ale
- Daisy Cutter
- Vallejo IPA
- Navaja Double IPA
Some of the kegs are extremely limited and likely to sell out earlier in the week.

And then on Saturday, New Jersey’s Carton Brewing will also be on hand pouring some of their favorites, including:
- Boat Beer (session ale)
- Whit Whale (Hoppy Wit Beer)
- Brunch. Dinner. Grub. – “Country Brown Ale”
- Rickey – “Gin Rickey” Sour
- Sakura – “Japanese Gose”
- Rub – “Dry Rub Porter”
All Carton drafts are $7 for 10 ounces.
Also mark your calendars for Uptown Beer Garden’s weekend Oktoberfest. Set for September 24th and 25th, the beer garden will be serving up beer, sausage, pretzels and more. Look for more details as the date approaches.
