Fishtown’s Wine Bars Add Happy Hour

ROOT, which opened a bit over two months ago is now rolling out a happy hour. The wine bar and restaurant is offering a 5-6-7-8 happy hour between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on weeknights. That means there are:
- $5 snacks and toasts
- $6 sangria and special wine
- $7 cheese and salumi plate
- $8 gin and tonics
ROOT isn’t the only new wine bar in Fishtown as Fishtown Social opened around the same time ROOT did.
Fishtown Social also offers happy hour on weekdays between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The specials include:
- $1 oysters
- $5 beers
- $7 draft wines
