More Food Truck News: Manayunk’s StrEAT Food Festival Is This Weekend

If you just can’t find it within yourself to wait until June for the Food Truck Border Brawl we wrote about earlier today, take heart. Food truck season is just beginning and we already have something else with which you can tide yourself over.

This Sunday, April 10, over 50 food trucks, nearly 20 gourmet food vendors, a beer garden, and a handful of local merchants will fill Main Street in Manayunk for the bi-annual StrEAT Food Festival. The event is kicking off Manayunk Restaurant Week, which goes from Monday, April 11 to Friday, April 22.

So from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can eat food from Philly’s finest food merchants and have a drink at the MNYK Beer Garden featuring beer including Victory Summer Love, Troegs Sunshine Pils, and Goose Island IPA. There will also be live music on Green Lane, Cotton Street, and Shurs Lane, as well as a farm stand and additional vendors where homemade oils, spices, and jams can be purchased, among tons of other items.

For the full list of food trucks, vendors, merchants, and the live music schedule, check out this guide.
