This is 100% not a joke: It has just been announced that chef Kevin Sbraga and his crew are opening a second Fat Ham in the King of Prussia Mall.

Just last night at a public hearing, the Upper Merion Board of Supervisors approved a liquor license transfer from Salsa’s restaurant in the Montgomeryville Mall to The Fat Ham at the KOP mall. The restaurant is being built in the corridor currently under construction that will connect the Court and the Plaza malls.

Sbraga Dining plans for the 1,400-square-foot restaurant to run during typical mall hours (10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday), but will will also follow special hours during the holidays. The restaurant will employ 12 full-time employees and will seat 60 people.

Sbraga is aiming for a late-summer opening.
