Franky Bradley’s Does Brunch

Waffles, booze and Bloody Marys for everyone.

So now, you can drink your way through Friday night, sleep it off, and come back again bright and early (well, at 11am) on Saturday morning for waffles and more liquor.

That’s what you call living your best life right there.

We’ve got details on the booze, the food and the hours for Franky Bradley’s new brunch service below. The fun started last weekend, but in case you missed it, now you’ll be all ready for this weekend’s boozy festivities.

Brunch starts at 11am and runs until 4pm, Saturday and Sunday. That’s important to know.

Also vital: What kind of booze they’re going to be featuring. Bloody Marys? Check. And a fancy one, too, with 20-odd ingredients, featuring adobo-sauced chipotle peppers, capers and a lashing of the house hot sauce. They’re also doing a couple of brunch-specific cocktails like the Morning After (Pisco, Aperol, grapefruit and egg white to make it breakfast-y) and the Casino Royale (Art in the age Rhubarb, Pimm’s, fresh lemon, mint and cucumber).

You’re gonna need something to absorb all that alcohol, though. And here, the kitchen is coming through with a menu featuring baked crepes with a vanilla fromage blanc, fresh blueberries, strawberries and peaches; smoked chicken hash with sweet potatoes, peppers, apples, poached eggs and cider jus; and a Belgian waffle topped with vanilla icing, cinnamon butter, candied pecans and maple syrup–which basically makes it a cinnamon bun in waffle form, and therefore the greatest idea I’ve heard all week.

What else do you need to know? Nothing, that’s what. Make your reservations (Open Table or 215-735-0735) and check it out this weekend.
