FedNuts Brings Back Fried Chicken Sandwiches For One Day Only

Yeah, so you’re gonna want to make your National Fried Chicken Day plans early this year.

That snap up there? That’s a Port FedNuts Fried Chicken Sandwich. Normally available only at the Spruce Street Harbor Park location, they’re crazy-good and have a tendency to inspire a kind of obsessive love among fans. And for one day only, they’re going to be available everywhere.

On Monday, July 6 (which just happens to be National Fried Chicken Day), all four Federal Donuts locations are going to be offering the Port FedNuts Fried Chicken Sandwich for sale. It’ll cost you $7. They’re going to start serving them at 11am and keep going until they’re all sold out. But if you were around for the last time they did something like this (a one-day fried chicken sandwich pop-up in Center City at the beginning of June), you know just how many people showed up, just how long the lines were, and just how fast the sandwiches sold out.

Granted, this time around there’ll be four times as many locations, meaning that the crowds might thin out a little. But you’re still gonna want to make plans to show up early and be prepared to wait.

But that’s cool, right? I mean National Fried Chicken Day only comes around once a year, and standing in line with a bunch of other fried chicken fanatics waiting for a culty fried chicken sandwich seems like a pretty good way to spend it.
