Beer Week Collaboration Beer Flops

One of the cool things that usually happens during Philly Beer Week is the debut of a collaboration beer between a local brewer and a Belgian brewery. But Don Russell reports that Leuven on a Prayer, a beer brewed at Belgium’s Hof Ten Dormaal with help from Free Will Brewing’s John Stemler was damaged during shipment and is likely a complete loss.

Hof Ten Dormaal’s Jef Janssens will be in Philadelphia for Beer Week but he won’t be pouring this collaboration beer. One good thing, the two brewers will collaborate on a brew at Free Will this week.
