Chili and Homebrew Competition This Weekend

This Saturday at 1 pm.

In a city where every fire creates an icehouse there are only three things that are guaranteed to warm you up: chili, beer, and firefighters. Thankfully, the Winter’s Warmers Chili Cook-Off this Saturday Feb. 28th has all three.

Tickets to the event can be purchased here. They are $30, which includes all-you-can-eat chili, an event glass, and access to sample the home-brews. To actually enter the chili competition, click here. The fee to enter is $35, which includes entry, a t-shirt and glass, and the ability to buy half-priced tickets for your friends. To enter a beer in the home-brew competition, click here. The first entry is $6, and each subsequent entry is $5.

The event is located at the Philadelphia Fire Fighters & Paramedics Union (415 N. 5th Street), from 1pm-5pm. You can find more info about the Cook-off at the Philadelphia Homebrew Club web site.
