Oyster House Is Bringing Back Their “Shuck Buddies” Happy Hour

Because why not? Valentine’s Day is a madhouse in the restaurant industry. The run-up? Nearly as bad. But if you’ve got a restaurant that makes its daily bread by selling oysters and the things that go along with oysters, why not kick things off early, right?

Which is why Oyster House is pre-gaming V-Day on Thursday, February 12, with their Shuck Buddies Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm.

It works like this. Oyster House has oysters. And clams. Many of which go for a buck-a-shuck. On this day, they’re also going to be pouring four different kinds of Yards Love Stout–a traditional oyster stout that plays nicely with all manner of shellfish. You put those two things together and what do you have? Shuck buddies.

Yards will be pouring their Love Stout, plus Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee versions of the English stout, all for $3. There’ll also be $3 oyster shooters, $5 cocktails, $3 drafts and, as mentioned above, plenty of oysters and clams going for a buck apiece.

So if you’re looking to get an early start on Valentine’s Day this year, now you’ve got an option.
