Check Out the Menus for Franky Bradley’s

franky-bradleys-940Mark Bee who has already experienced success at N. 3rd and Silk City is opening Franky Bradley’s tomorrow at Juniper and Chancellor. The former Sisters Nightclub promises a retro experience, connecting to the space’s past as Frankie Bradley’s, a well known restaurant that catered to entertainers, that was opened from 1933 to 1986.

The interior definitely has a Mark Bee vibe, complete with a Foxy Brown portrait made out of dollar bills. The walls are also adorn with vintage sexy Pan Am ads and more than a few nudes.

David Kane, who has a experience with David Ansill at Pif and Bar Ferdinand, as well as time at Bee’s Silk City is the chef. The menu features plenty of nostalgic dishes like French Onion Soup, potato skins and steak tartare. Entrees, which range from $18 to $29 include potato gnocchi, cider braised lamb shank and grilled bone-in ribeye.

The drink menu includes ten beers on draft, plus another 28 in bottle and can. An extensive list of wine is available by the glass and bottle. A custom cocktail list intrigues with drinks like; “The Old American,” Rittenhouse Rye, lime, mint, black IPA; “Scorpio,” Cazadores Reposado, Mezcal, lime, ginger and agave and the “Velvet Goldmine,” Bluecoat gin, lemon, cranberry jam and cava. Cocktails range from $8 to $12.

Franky Bradley’s will open a second floor with live entertainment and dancing in about a month.
