Gennaro’s Tomato Pie has made 1429 Jackson Street a bit of a destination. But the small pizzeria is heading to bigger digs on East Passyunk Avenue, in the former Da Vinci’ Restaurant. The new spot will offer a second floor and a completely under appreciated courtyard.

Mike Giammarino tells Michael Klein that the Gennaro’s will open on the Fountain on East Passyunk in mid-2015. Gennaro’s remains open on Jackson Street in the meantime.
