Garces Gala Ticket Sweepstakes Could Win You A $2400 VIP Upgrade

Tickets for the 3rd annual Garces Foundation Gala scheduled for October 29th at the Kimmel Center are now on sale. But that’s not the big news.

The big news is that they’re running a seriously once-in-a-lifetime sort of sweepstakes sweepstakes for early ticket purchasers.

Purchasing a general admission ticket for the Gala now through October 9th will not only buy you a night of delicious food tastings and silent auctions, but also a chance to be upgraded to VIP ticket status, which means entrance to the exclusive, private chefs tasting dinner with chefs Jose Garces, Eli Kulp, Rich Landau, Kevin Sbraga, Peter Serpico and Greg Vernick, valued at $2,400. The prize also includes  access to the private after-party at Distrito, and two tickets to the Garces Foundation Summer BBQ at Luna Farm in June 2015.

General admission to the Gala opens at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $200 each. VIPs (and maybe you?) will be admitted at 5:30 for a private meet-and-greet with all of the event chefs.

After that, VIPs will head upstairs to the rooftop Hamilton Garden to enjoy a three course family style seated meal by Jose Garces, Eli Kulp, Rich Landau, Kevin Sbraga, Peter Serpico and Greg Vernick. Downstairs, the gala will be in full swing, with chefs like Maria Schmidt of Amada, Jason Cichonski of Ela and The Gaslight, Nick Elmi from Laurel, and Townsend Wentz of Townsend (among many others) all serving bites and snacks to the crowd. Of course, there’ll be plenty of booze, too. Because what’s a gala without booze?
