Philly Wine Week: Day 5

Tashan is hosting the toast at 10 tonight.

Here’s our picks for what to do today and this evening for Philly Wine Week.

For happy hour, a.bar is offering natural wines from the Loire Valley. Usually only offered by the bottle, the wines will be half-price between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Planet of the Grapes author Jason Wilson is pouring $6 pours for godforsaken grapes happy hour at Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro.

When I grew up, family game night often included the French game Milles Bornes (yeah, not a normal childhood). That game and other French classics will be part of Bistro St. Tropez’s five-wine tasting and game night. The wine flight costs $30.

Brauhaus Schmitz is hosting a four-course dinner paired with wines from Germany, Austria and Alsace. Dinner with wine is $75 plus tax and tip.

The Toast at Ten will be at Tashan. All wines by the glass will be half-price.
