Another Pig Dinner, This One At Il Pittore

So we’ve already got one big pig dinner on the books–the Fine Swine dinner at Taproom on 19th–but now we’ve got word of another happening, this time at Chris Painter‘s Il Pittore.

On Tuesday, January 28, Painter will be celebrating La Festa di Sant’Antonio Abate (which is some kind of celebration of swine herdsmen in Italy, where people really know how to make a proper holiday), and he’ll be doing it with a five-course all-pig menu with paired Italian wines for $130 per person (plus tax and tip).

Yeah, it’s a little bit pricey. But before you write this one off, check out the menu that Painter has assembled for the event.
