Christmas Ale Happy Hour at Victoria Freehouse
The Victoria Freehouse is offering a special happy hour today of Christmas Ales. For $15 you can get a flight of British holiday beers plus “Devils on Horseback,” stilton stuffed dates wrapped in bacon.
The flights include:
- Reindeer’s Revolt – English Strong Ale
- Criminally Bad Elf – English Barleywine style beer
- Pickled Santa – Winter Warmer style beer
- Lump of Coal – Foreign Stout beer
Also this evening, the Old City Brit pub is offering a Wells Imperial pairings dinner. The dinner includes three 10-ounce pours of British beer and three courses for $30. Pairings include:
- Wells Bombardier – English Premium Bitter paired with Wells & English Cheddar Mac ‘n’ Cheese
- Wells Courage Russian Imperial Stout paired with Lancashire Hot Pot
- Wells Banana Bread – English Strong Ale brewed with bananas paired with Molten Chocolate Cake, Cinnamon Clove Ice Cream
