Massive Oysters at Doc Magrogan’s University City

I was once with cheesesteak mogul Tony Luke at some Beverly Hills restaurant (long story), and he ordered these big, fat oysters that–I swear–were the size of small cheeseburgers. These Elkhorn oysters from Washington State are kind of bringing back those memories.

They’re on the menu at Doc Magrogan’s University City tonight, along with 21 other oysters. The West Philly Doc’s location has kind of been kicking ass in the oyster department, which is more than I can say for certain other restaurants.
