Update on Pizza Brain and Little Baby’s Ice Cream

The collaborative projects of Little Baby’s Ice Cream and Pizza Brain both received some press coverage this week. A.D. Amorosi interviewed Pizza Brain’s Brian Dwyer and his ever expanding pizza memorabilia collection, plus he shined some light on the pizzeria aspect. Pizza Brain will feature a gas oven to emulate American pizza so many of us grew up eating. Pizza Brain is now aiming for an early August opening.

Next door to Pizza Brain’s pizza museum and restaurant will be Little Baby’s Ice Cream. The Frankford Avenu ice cream shop was featured by Hidden City Philadelphia this week. The interview with designer and artist Jason Hsu focuses on inspiration for the offbeat shop ( Italian post modern meets Pee Wee’s playhouse). If you want to check out the almost-finished scoop shop for yourself, Hidden City Philadelphia is offering a members-only tour next Wednesday. Sign up today.
