Philly Beer Week Picks for Monday #PBW

Brauhaus Schmitz will be the first bar to offer Arcobräu Schloss Dunkel on draft in the US.  Then at 6 p.m., DiBruno Brothers’ Zeke Ferguson will be on hand to offer German beer and cheese pairings.

Look for some rarities from Bear Republic to be pouring at Kite & Key starting at 5 p.m.

The With Love Beer Garden will be open all week. Monday will feature Victory Brewing and the 2012 edition of Summer Love Ale. Sure there may be a 40% chance of thunderstorms but that also means there is a 60% chance there will not be any storms.

One trend we’re seeing so far this Beer Week, sour may indeed be the new hoppy. Tonight’s Khyber Pss Pub sour beer class is sold out. So instead look for Round Guys Brewing or Funky Buddha on Philly Tap Finder.

A.kitchen is hosting a four-course dinner paired with Italy’s Birrificio Bruton’s beers.

Irish Pol is hosting a Troegs night. On tap will be Perpetual IPA, Nugget Nectar, Flying Mouflan and the scratch beers made by Jack Curtin and Lew Bryson.

Varga After Dark tonight features a Stone Brewing takeover and a pop-up restaurant featuring Mexican cuisine.
