Somewhere along the line the weekend before Memorial Day became the weekend where everyone scheduled their festival, celebration and block party. And when the weather is this nice, why not. Here’s our list of great weekend events, see how many you can get to.

Friday

Saturday

Start your day with brunch in the garden at Rittenhouse Tavern

Look for Jason Sheehan and Arthur Etchells on the 1800 block of the Rittenhouse Row Festival where we’ll be hosting the STARR demonstration kitchen

 

South Philadelphia Tap Room’s Wheat Beer Festival is seven years old and still going strong

Start practicing for Beer Week with the Brandywine Beer Fest at Iron Hill in Media

 

The always pork and fun-tastic Italian Market Festival runs this Saturday and Sunday

Around the corner from the Italian Market, Cianfrani Park is throwing a Spring Fest at 8th and Fitzwater and Rival Brothers, Lil Dan’s, Pitruco Pizza, Sweetbox Truck and Zsas Ice Cream will be there from 9 to 3 p.m.

 

 

Across town the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival and Kinetic Sculpture Derby will be amazing onlookers

XPN NonCOMMvention features a live concert at Penn Park and the much talked about Spot Burgers will be there
