Weekend: Mad Elves, Chowder and a Marathon

Friday

If you missed the Troegs night at the Sidecar last night (we didn’t and we’re a bit sluggish for it) have no fear, Mad Elf and its high octane friends will be at the Grey Lodge tonight.

Saturday

It’s the final barbecue of the season at The Corner. John Taus is pulling out all the stops with this one with a Pig Roast. Make reservations as seats are limited.

Unlimited beer and all-you-can-eat chowder are the draws at the Stout and Chowder Festival set to take place at the Independence Seaport Museum.

Head down to East Passyunk as Stateside opens its doors.

Sunday

There’s a marathon in Philadelphia. So if you’re doing that, have a beer afterward, you deserve it. If you’re like us and not running, at least hustle to your favorite brunch spot, those marathoners mob spots after running 26.2 (or even 13.1) miles.
