The Agenda: Spicy Meatballs, 10 Wines & An Exciting Opening

Tonight Han Dynasty invades Industry Night at Amis. Among the dishes promised; tea smoked duck, minced pork and rice, dan dan noodles, spicy cucumbers, and pig intestines with pigs blood soup. From Amis there will be Szechuan pepper sausage, spaghetti with garlic and fresh chilis, general Sal’s meatballs, and cooling it down for dessert with honey soy semifreddo.

Tuesday sees Mardi Gras celebrations around town. We’ll recap some of the best later today.

Break up the week by taking advantage of Smith & Wollenksy’s Wine Week. With the purchase of a lunch entree $10 gets you access to ten featured wines.

Thursday night sees the opening of The Farm and the Fisherman by chefs Josh Lawler and Colleen Lawler. This is one farm-to-table BYOB that we’re particularly intrigued by.

Another thing you should do this week is buy tickets. Brewer’s Plate pre-sales end at noon today and the Craft Beer Express is this Saturday and we’d recommend getting tickets now rather than risking being left out on Saturday.
