Fork & Barrel Happenings

We have quite the crush on Fork & Barrel in East Falls and we’re not alone, BROG’s Malachy Egan penned his own smitten prose over the weekend for the candle-lit bar.

This week looks to be a good time for you to fall for Fork & Barrel as there are a couple of big events scheduled.

On Wednesday, it’s a Stone Brewing and hot dog event with four unique Stone beers including a one-off firkin of smoked porter with vanilla beans. The four beers will be paired with four gourmet hot dogs for $30.

And then on Thursday, 12% Imports and Murray’s Cheese will be in the house. We were able to attend a 12% Imports event at Tria Fermentation School during Beer Week and sample several of the beers in their portfolio, it was great. Add New York’s famous cheese shop and you’ve got the makings of a great evening. It will be a structured tasting of 10 beers for $45 $65.
