Have Our Noodle Prayers Been Answered?

A liquor license is in the window of 1930 Chestnut Street and word on the street is that a noodle house is coming to town. A noodle house you may remember if you’ve been around Center City for awhile. We’ve been told that it will be the return of Noodle Heaven, a Broad Street stalwart that closed out a near ten-year run in 2003.

It’s a big space with more than 5,000 square feet of ground floor space available. Let’s hope it cures our ramen void.

Update: This won’t be the answer to our ramen abyss but will bring high-end Chinese back to Center City, a missing ingredient since Susanna Foo closed her restaurant on Walnut Street.
