Weekend
Friday
The Philadelphia Eagles hit the gridiron for the first time tonight. It really shouldn’t hold your interest for more than 10 or so minutes. Then return to the important task of getting your drink on. With temperate temperatures it seems like the perfect night to check out the fire pits at City Tap House.
Saturday
Johnny Brenda’s is hosting a Saison brunch with 10 or so local Saison or farmhouse ales.
From 2 to 7pm the Institute is collaborating with Brauhaus Schmitz. The German bar and restaurant will be providing the sausage and the Institute will be pairing them with smoked beers from Furthermore, Stone and Victory among others. Sausage plates will be $15 each and include one of each sausage and sides.
Sunday
Since its opening Brauhaus Schmitz has had a fascination with German favorite, David Hasselhoff so its no wonder they’re blowing it up for his Comedy Central roast. The fun kicks off at 9 with specials on “Hoff”brau Lager and both a Baywatch and Beefcake Burger. At 10, the sound will be turned up on the TVs and Hasselhoff will be rightfully roasted.
