Rum on the River

On Thursday, August 19th the Rum Bar presents Rum On the River at OCTO Waterfront Grille, a cane spirits festival. Advance tickets are $40 per person, $65 for VIP admission.

Admission entitles visitors to unlimited samples from more than 25 rums to be sampled, cocktails, live Samba band, passed hors d’oeuvres and the third annual Mojito Olympics. Foobooz’s own Arthur Etchells will return as a guest judge and be joined by rum experts Mike Streeter, Robert Burr, Paul Yellin, Paul Artrip and local celebrities Laura Burkhardt and Marisa Magnatta.

VIP admission includes specialty El Dorado cocktails, butlered tropical fare and a V.I.P. hour from 6-7 p.m.
