Can’t Make It to the James Beard House? Join the Restaurant Club

Mémé chef-owner David Katz cooks exclusively for the RC

RCers, if you’ve never met David Katz — chef-owner of Rittenhouse bistro Mémé and the subject of a profile in the May issue of the magazine — or tried his New American food, you’re in luck! The talented chef will host a dinner exclusively for Restaurant Club members on May 25th, inspired by a menu he served at the James Beard Foundation in New York.

Katz is a real character, emotional and emotive, full of opinions and not afraid to share them, and shy and brash all at the same time. This month, Restaurant Clubbers have the chance to dine at Mémé, where Katz will prepare the menu he cooked at the James Beard Foundation in March, along with optional wine pairings. The restaurant is small and will fill up quickly, so be sure to make your reservations now! Update: The Mémé dinner has sold out! There is a waiting list; call the restaurant to be added to it.
