If April brings showers, March begets brackets. At Varga Bar the brackets have 8 breweries competing in an NCAA basketball style bracket. The first two rounds are already complete with Triumph and Iron Hill moving on but next Monday and Tuesday they’re back at it with Yards Brawler vs. Troegs Nugget Nectar and Victory Mad King’s Weiss competing against Flying Fish Exit 4. The semifinals are March 15th and 16th with the finals on Monday, March 29th.

Over at Phoodie, they are accepting nominations for the Greatest Italian Restaurant in Philadelphia bracket. Submit your picks for the Cute Little BYOB, Chains and Other Guilty Pleasures, Red & White Tablecloths and High-priced & Critics Faves regions in time for Monday’s kickoff of “Red Sauce Madness.”
