Come Again? Ansill to Ladder 15?
We had to check the calendar, it’s Ground Hog Day not April Fool’s Day so we have no reason not to believe that David Ansill, known for his foodie following, is going to become executive chef at Ladder 15.
Michael Klein quotes co-owner Max Tucker (not Tucker Max) as saying it is part of a “‘full-on’ project to ramp up the food along with the beer and wine program.”Â And maybe that’s true as the bar has seemingly strayed from its early goals and become more of a Mad River West.
Ansill says some of his signature items will make the menu including Korean short-rib tacos, mussels and beet salad.
