It must be spring because there is a plethora of great things to do this weekend.
Friday
Meet the most endorsed Mayoral candidate as Michael Nutter is stopping by McCrossen’s after the mayoral debate Friday evening.
It’s a first First Friday and there is no rain in the forecast! Grab an outdoor table and people watch at Society Hill Hotel or Anthony’s, sigh Skinners.
Philebrity.TV Launch bash is tonight at the RUBA in Northern Liberties.
Saturday
Check out the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival on Walnut from noon to 5 PM and be sure to sign the petition to allow music to be played in Rittenhouse Square.
And as we mentioned earlier today, Saturday is Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby.
Then check out the BB”Q” in the Gayborhood from 5 to 8 PM.
Later in the evening check out the highly anticipated boxing match between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather. Charlie’s and Players Pub among others will be broadcasting the game.
Sunday
Sly Fox’s annual goat race brings spring in Bavaria to Phoenixville.
Germantown Avenue gets closed off and vendors of all kinds come out for the Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival.
