Craving The Double Stuff

This week we’re craving the double stuff and not the Double Stuff Oreo cookie. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but this week we’re craving something decidedly more up-town. The Focaccina pizza at Osteria, as we said in our First Look at Osteria is a double crusted pizza, almost like a calzone that has reached for the stars and made it.

Stuffed with robiola cheese, and covered with the same crunchy paper thin crust that serves as its base, the pizza is then drizzled with truffle oil. The first bite has you at ease with paying $24 for a nine inch pizza, the last bite has you plotting your return visit.
