Blind Item: Charming Neighborhood Restaurant

It’s Friday and that means the Blind Item Game. Today’s is a challenging one although we here at Foobooz have a guess.

For those who are new to the site a blind item is a tantalizing bit of gossip about a celebrity but with the name withheld. In restaurants and bars, these blind items aren’t about celebrities, but about restaurant listings.

Asking: $1,500,000 (Real Estate Included)
Year Established: 1973

We are a charming little neighborhood restaurant with a very good reputation. We have been serving Philadelphians and travelers for 32 years. Many guests say it reminds them of Paris. It has all new equipment, new stove, reach in box, walk in box motor, bain marie. It is totally up to code with fire laws and health laws. It has a liquor license and a Sunday serving license.

The restaurant is located in the first two floors of two attached buildings on a beautiful tree lined block. There are three dining rooms. The main dining room on the first floor seats 40 or 50 banquet style and has a bar room attached to it. There are two dining rooms upstairs that each seat 40. There is a large basement with the walk in and a liquor storage room.

There is a one bedroom spacious 1100 Square foot apartment on the third floor with new Anderson windows.

The business is also for sale for $500,000 without the building with a long lease available at $6000 a month.
