Woman Found Dead in Trunk Of Car in Hotel Parking Lot

Police arrested a Philadelphia man with concealing the body. Philadelphia Police also served a search warrant on a home in Olney.

Update: A Philadelphia man has been charged with concealing the body in the car’s trunk. Jesus Garcia was sent to the Burlington County Jail on $150,000 bail.

Earlier: A woman was found dead in the trunk of a car outside a hotel in Maple Shade, New Jersey. Action News reports the owner of the car, who knew the victim, is being questioned.

She was found in the parking lot of the Quality Inn in Maple Shade after police arrived at the hotel at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. Family members had notified police earlier in the day, saying they were concerned for her safety; cops were able to track down the car because it has OnStar installed.

Philadelphia Police have been called in, as the investigation also involves a home in the Olney section of Philadelphia. CBS 3 says the woman may have been missing from Olney.

No one has yet been charged in the case.
