Don Tollefson Unable to Post Bail
On Tuesday morning, former Philadelphia sportscaster Don Tollefson was arrested and charged with theft and fraud in Warminster, Bucks County, with prosecutors alleging that he stole more than $100,000. According to court records, Tollefson is unable to post bail.
Judge Daniel Finello, Jr. set Tollefson’s bail at $250,000. He would have to post 10 percent of that, or $25,000, to remain a free man while awaiting trial. Instead, Tollefson, 61, has been remanded to Bucks County Jail. Court records also indicate that Tollefson has been provided with an application for the appointment of a public defender.
