PHOTOS: 11 Blue Shoes That Should Totally Be Your Something Blue

So maybe, if we are being wholly truthful, this post might have started because we may or may not have seen a pair of blue shoes that we very much wanted to buy. (Who are we kidding? We’d buy every last one shown below. You know. If we could pay for them in lollipops.)

But the thing is, a bride wearing blue shoes has always been my favorite “something blue.” I am a huge supporter of brides wearing non-white shoes, anyway, whatever they are, and right now, it seems like there are blue options—powder, royal, Tiffany, navy, cobalt, you name it—everywhere I turn. And no one likes to spend inappropriate amounts of money alone, right?

Let’s shop. Buy these for your wedding.

J. Crew, jcrew.com

Are these J.Crew Collection t-strap ballet flats not the most darling things ever? Whether or not you wore them from morning ’til night, you have to admit they’d be heaven to change into for dancing. $228 at J.Crew.

BHLDN, bhldn.com

Being from BHLDN, these Forties Forever slingbacks by Something Bleu, not surprisingly, have got that vintage-y, Anthro-y feeling we just love. $300 at BHLDN.

Manolo Blahnik, neimanmarcus.com

“Oh, I remember when these were Carrie Bradshaw’s something blue in the first Sex and the City movie,” you’re thinking to yourself? Yes, me too. The Manolo Blahnik Hangisi satin pump. That was who knows how many years ago, and they’re still awesome. Kind of the ultimate, really.  $965 at Neiman Marcus.

British designer Aruna Seth makes these so-fab satin Butterfly heels not only in the drool-worthy Tiffany-blue you see here, but also in all of these different shades of blue (seriously): royal; Celeste; dusk; steel (love those); navy; aquamarine; and powder. Right? Right. $946.05 at Aruna Seth.

Kate Spade, katespade.com

There are few things that make me happier than a true cobalt blue, and this one on the Kate Spade Emison peep-toe is awesome. Plus, look at that just-perfect heel height. Plus, look at that so-fun crystal detail. Sold. $328 at Kate Spade.

YSL, joanshepp.com

I’m not going to act like these YSL Blue Tribtoo pumps are a particularly wise choice for your wedding day, nor like they are something that would be even remotely possible to dance in (though if you could, my hat’s off to you, lady), but look at them, please. They had to be included, right? $895 at Joan Shepp.

Salvatore Ferragamo, shopbop.com

Are these Ferragamo patent bowtie flats not the sweetest things ever? For changing into to dance, sure, but even from beginning to end. $425 at SHOPBOP.
