Local Jewelry Designer John Wind’s New Initial Styles Make the Perfect Bridesmaid Gift
We’ve got the scoop on what we can safely say is currently our fave gift for brides to bestow upon their ‘maids.
Bridesmaids are, after all, the good sports who fearlessly stand by your side from the engagement to the altar, and whose encouraging smiles never seem to fade despite every Bridezilla moment that leaves them shaking in their heels. Oftentimes, they’re nothing short of superheroes—so when it’s all said and done, it’s always a kind gesture to gift them a little token to show how much they mean to you.
As brides, you can never go wrong with giving your ladies a personalized piece of jewelry that will forever remind them of the beautiful day you shared together. But our current obsession is the new Inspired Initial Collection from Maximal Art, by nationally-loved jewelry designer and Philly native, John Wind (a few of our editors are already rocking these jewels around the office).
The adorable initial styles, which come in both bracelets and necklaces and your choice of silver or gold, each come with a dangling letter charm. The cutest part: every charm is engraved with an inspirational word that begins with the chosen letter (the C says “confident” and the E, “energy”). So not only is the piece personalized to your bridesmaid’s name, but it also carries a sweet sentiment with it as well. And, for under $50, these are the perfect gift to say “thank you” for all of their love and support throughout the wedding process.
The new John Wind designs will be available by mid-September online, at Philly stores Scarlett Alley, Joan Shepp, Bloom, and at Christina’s in Wilmington. But for now, take a look at a few of our favorite styles:
