Here’s the injury report for Monday night’s home game against Carolina:

OUT

QB Nick Foles (collarbone)

PROBABLE

S Nate Allen (hamstring), CB Nolan Carroll (groin), C Jason Kelce (hernia), LB Mychal Kendricks (calf), WR Jeff Maehl (foot), G Evan Mathis (knee), WR Brad Smith (groin)

Foles will be sidelined for the next 6-8 weeks. Matt Barkley moves into the backup role behind Mark Sanchez, and Brad Smith will be the emergency backup if healthy enough to suit up. Otherwise, it will probably be James Casey.

Evan Mathis (MCL) makes his return to the lineup. Todd Herremans (biceps) is out for the year. Chip Kelly said either Andrew Gardner or Matt Tobin will start in Herreman’s absence. Tobin was getting first-team reps at right guard during the portion of practice open to reporters this week.

DeMeco Ryans is out for the remainder of the year with a torn Achilles. Casey Matthews and Emmanuel Acho will rotate in. Kelce, working back from hernia surgery, said he is not 100 percent but was still effective against Houston last week.

For the Panthers, guard Trai Turner (ankle) and cornerback Bene Benwikere (ankle) are out. Receiver Philly Brown (concussion) and defensive tackles Dwan Edwards (knee) and Kawann Short (ankle) are probable.
