Mathis, Barbre Leave With Injury

The Eagles offensive line sustained two injuries in the first half against Jacksonville.

Evan Mathis had to be assisted off the field with a left leg injury in the second quarter. On the same drive, Allen Barbre hobbled off with a right ankle injury. Barbre is the starting right tackle while Lane Johnson serves his four-game suspension.

Mathis, an All-Pro guard in 2013, got hurt when LeSean McCoy was tackled into the back of his leg. He was unable to put any weight on it as he left the field with trainers on either side of him. He is out for the game. Barbre’s return is questionable.

Matt Tobin (ankle) was an inactive for this game. Andrew Gardner replaced Mathis at left guard but was quickly forced over to right tackle when Barbre left. David Molk, the only other reserve lineman active, filled in at left guard.

In other injury news, Najee Goode (pec) is questionable to return. Bennie Logan hurt his ankle early but is playing through it.
