Broad Street Run Issues Statement on Security Measures for May 5th Race
I posted this morning about Mayor Nutter’s statement regarding enhanced security at the Broad Street Run next month. Now the race itself has issued a statement, posted just a few minutes ago on its Facebook page.
The comments, of course, are rolling in, with some runners expressing worry that the race might be canceled. (I’ve heard of no official plans—or even rumors—about that happening, for the record.) One person suggested wearing “red sox” in support of Boston. Lots of folks seem to like that idea.
Check out the comments here.
