Lululemon Recalls See-Through Yoga Pants, Says “Shortage Expected”

Take a looksie at your rear if you've purchased Lulu yoga pants recently ...

Welp, don’t say I didn’t warn you, ladies. That whole see-through yoga-pants thing? It is now a fact.

Lululemon announced yesterday that it has recalled a boatload of black yoga pants after the company realized the fabric it was using wasn’t up to snuff—namely, that the Luon bottoms were totally, utterly, completely see-through. The problem affects roughly 17 percent of all the women’s yoga pants stocked at Lulu stores. Meaning? “For the near term, there will be a shortage of some styles available to our guests,” the company states on its website.

Lululemon pulled all the affected pants from store shelves and its website over the weekend. Anyone who purchased pants at Lulu since March 1st can get a refund or exchange. If you got the pants online, you’re encouraged to call 1-877-263-9300 or email to find out how to make the exchange.

As for the expected yoga-pants shortage (gasp!): “We are exploring all opportunities to increase inventory levels as quickly as possible, so long as our standards are met,” the company states. “We are doing everything we can to increase our inventory levels of black luon women’s bottoms in our stores as soon as possible. We will be sharing more information as it becomes available. Stay tuned to store Facebook pages, product notifications and for new product drops and updates.”
