We may have the best intentions to eat healthy, but how many of us think about the quality of fruits, vegetables, and meats that we’re putting in our bodies? While the “Dirty Dozen” list[1] can help guide our shopping for organic foods, when it comes to eating out, we have a lot less control over what’s on our plates. Unless, of course, we’re dining at organic restaurants.

Naked Lunch[4]

A post shared by MOM’s Organic Market (@momsorganicmarket) on

Where: 34 South 11th Street, Market East (located inside Mom’s Organic Market[5])
What: It’s no surprise that this fast-casual spot, located inside Mom’s Organic, would feature a menu of bowls and sandwiches that are entirely organicIn addition to being fully organic, the menu is super vegan and gluten-free-friendly. Pro tip: the bowls are so large that they can easily serve as two meals.

Satya[6]

Sunset Moon Wellness Center[7]

A post shared by Sunset Moon Wellness Center (@sunsetmoonwellness) on

Where: 1007 Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr
What: Let’s cover the facts here first: everything at Sunset Moon is organic aside from the bagels, they are a zero-waste facility and offer vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free menu items. Beat the trendsetters and pop in for a pistachio milk latte or opt for a full pasta meal, like their indulgent Capellini entree served with a Brazil-nut parmesan cheese topping.

Bare Burger[8]

A post shared by Bareburger (@bareburger) on

Where: 1109 Walnut Street, Midtown Village

Their beef patties are made from a blend of organic brisket and organic chuck with a little (non-organic) chuck in the mix as well. Many of the burger accoutrements, such as cheese, onions and lettuce, are organic as well.

Roots Cafe[9]

A post shared by The Roots Cafe (@roots_cafe) on

Where: 133 East Gay Street, West Chester
