SUNDAY, JULY 1
ROOTS2RISE YOGA ON THE MANAYUNK BRIDGE Roots2Rise wants you to join them for some yoga on the Manayunk Bridge. This 60-minute yoga sesh is offered every Sunday morning. MONDAY, JULY 2
FREE CENTER CITY FIT: YOGA Join Optimal Sport 1315 instructors for free yoga classes at Dilworth Park! These hour-long classes are held every Monday evening. All you need to do is bring your own mat! Click here to view it on the calendar. Free, 6 p.m.
TUESDAY, JULY 3

FREE YOGA & JUSTICE AT EASTERN STATE Eastern State is hosting events as art of their Searchlight Series, all of which address issues in contemporary corrections. This particular event is led by yoga teacher Colleen Devirgiliis, Brianne Murphy from Transformation Yoga Project, and social justice activist Kempis Songster. The event includes a yoga class on the prison’s baseball diamond and a reception following the yoga portion. Chair and mats will be provided, and no reservations are necessary. WEDNESDAY, JULY 4
FREEDOM & FEELS YOGA SCULPT You have two chances to sweat it out, Independence Day-style, at The Wall Fitness in Manayunk. First, at 8:15 a.m., there’s a USA-themed yoga sculpt class (you’ll need a mat and grippy socks to participate). Then, at 9:30 a.m., there’s a SPINdependence Day indoor cycling class. THURSDAY, JULY 5
FREE YOGA AND BEER WITH ROOTS2RISE AND PARKS ON TAP Head over to the beautiful Shofuso Japanese House & Garden Fairmount Park for a class that supports Roots2Rise. Instructed by Mariel Freeman, the owner of Three Queens Yoga, this class takes place at the Japanese Shofuso Garden and has a suggested donation of $10. PURE BARRE ON THE BEACH hereArdmore’s Pure Barre is going coastal with this beach barre class. Bring your water bottle, towel, and yoga mat for this toning workout out on North Beach in front of Deauville Inn in Strathmere, New Jersey. These classes are scheduled for every Saturday morning in July. Walk-ups welcome, or pre-register . $10, 8:45 a.m.
MONDAY, JULY 9
COREFITNESS JULY SHRED Get ready to get sweaty: CoreFitness is hosting a July Shred Series from July 9 through July 20. That means meeting up at 6 a.m. five days a week, Monday through Friday, at the Art Museum steps. From there, the coaches will determine where to take the class for a 50-minute, full-body, cardio and strength-building class. Full rate is $179. Register here.

FREE BE WELL PHILLY SUMMER YOGA FLOW Join Be Well Philly for our Summer Yoga Flow Series, led by Three Queens Yoga to the beat of a live deejay. The 60-minute flow will be followed by drinks from Michelob Ultra, Belvedere, and Steaz, and the series will be occur on Tuesday evenings throughout the month (July 10, 17, 24, and 31). FREE OUTDOOR BARRE CLASSES Want to try barre but never got around to it? The Bar Method is hosting free classes on Tuesday nights this month. You’ll just need to bring your own mat (and water!). To participate, sign up ahead of time here, then arrive at 5 p.m. for a check-in before the 45-minute class at The Plaza at the Comcast Center. Free, 5:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 11
GNO: VIXEN WORKOUT SLAY & SIP VixenArmyTasha is hosting the Vixen Workout on The Deck Philly at the Moshulu. The Vixen Workout is a cardio dance fitness class that has easy choreography, great music, and disco lighting. After the 60-minute class, enjoy Ladies Night at the Deck and reward your workout efforts with food and drink specials (starting at $5). SUMMER LOVIN’ DAYBREAKER Join Daybreaker at Stratus Lounge Philly for an early-morning fitness party. The day starts with 60 minutes of yoga, followed by a two-hour dance party full of surprises. SATURDAY, JULY 14
BABY GOAT YOGA Yoga Hive Philly is hosting a Baby Goat Yoga class as part of their grand opening celebration at East Passyunk Community Center Park. Gina Durante and Heather Bonato, owners of Yoga Hive, will be running the class. Yoga mats will be provided if you do not bring your own — and, oh, baby goats will be provided, too! After the class, there will be complimentary cocktails and food at the new Yoga Hive studio (1914 E Passyunk Avenue). Baby goats and free food—who wouldn’t sign up? YOGA WITH PIGS Tuck Barre and Yoga and Fairytail Acres are hosting — yes, you are reading this correctly — yoga with pigs. Just don’t plan on doing a lot of yoga — there will be a lot of pig playtime involved instead. Donations from this event will go to support Fairytale Acres’ ‘The Rescue,’ their mission to rescue pigs from abuse and abandonment and provide them with proper care. Find tickets here. BARRE & BUBBLES Y2B Fit is celebrating its second birthday in style — with a 45-minute barre class followed by food and bubbly! Two classes will be offered at this event — one at 11 a.m. and one at 12 p.m. All proceeds from the class will go to support Project Sweet Peas, a non-profit that provides support to families of premature or sick infants, as well as those affected by pregnancy and infant loss. PHILLYCORE: ART MUSEUM BOOT CAMP Nothing like a classic Art Museum workout!
