This Free Pop-Up Event Will Include a Work Out, a Sound Bath, and Smoothies
The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel is celebrating Global Wellness Day with a party for fitness lovers.
Here at Be Well Philly, every day is Wellness Day. For the rest of the world, though, Global Wellness Day is apparently June 9. In celebration, the yet-to-open Spa at Four Seasons Hotel at Comcast Center is inviting all of us over for a big fitness party.
The morning will kick off at 9 a.m. on June 9 with a workout led by personal trainer Steve Hoffman. After ramping up your heart rate with some body-weight exercises, you’ll bring it back down again with some stretching. Next, you’ll fully unwind with a relaxing sound bath, led by vibrational sound therapist Susan Gwaltney.
Afterwards, you’ll refuel with some “clean nibbles” and fresh smoothies, then snap some selfies in a photo booth.
But while we love free sweat sessions and smoothies, one of the biggest reasons we’re looking forward to this event is to get a sneak peek of the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel, which is slated to open later this year. The spa director, Verena Lasvigne will be on site to share some details about the new facilities, which, FYI, are going to be faaancy. Given that the new hotel spa will be located on the 57th floor of the Comcast Center and include an infinity pool (hello, swim with a view!), we’re pretty psyched for the day the doors open.
Four Seasons’ Global Wellness Day celebration is scheduled for June 9 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The event is BYO yoga mat, and it will take place outdoors at Comcast Plaza, 1701 John F. Kennedy Boulevard. RSVP here.
